We’ve been involved with medical equipment for a long time. Before starting Source Medical Equipment, we worked for some of the bigger players in the industry. When we opened our doors in 2003, we knew we wanted to build a different kind of company.

How have we done that? We have let 10 important principles guide us every step of the way.
Our 10 Tenets
Serve the customer.
Our focus is you. Plain and simple. We are here to make sure you have the best possible experience when you purchase a product from Source Medical Equipment. No exceptions.
Be honest and open.
We never misrepresent products or skirt around truths. Our goal is to be completely transparent with you, and to make sure you get the best solutions and service we can deliver.
Maintain low prices.
While we might not always have the rock-bottom, lowest price for every product, on average we maintain the lowest prices you can find – online or through a brick and mortar store. It’s just how we roll.
Offer great products.
We hand pick all products in our portfolio. Curating the best of the best for a variety of needs helps ensure you make a smart choice no matter what choice you make.
Be the underdog.
We are a small business, not a giant company. But no matter how much we grow, we will always value thinking and acting like an underdog. It lets us outperform our competitors on all sides.
Help keep healthcare costs down.
We want to do our part to keep healthcare costs down, so our strategy involves only making modest markups so you save and ensuring that the products you purchase provide value for the long-term.
Make the most of every interaction.
We know that every interaction we have says something about who we are. We are “people-people,” which means we aim to satisfy customers 100% of the time. If it’s not 100% right, we will make it 100% right.
Whether it’s how we represent our products online, how we answer questions on the phone, or the emails we write, we value clear communication, and we know our customers do, too. It’s the only way to get things done.
Make things happen.
We’re entrepreneurs at heart, and we know the best way to make things happen is to actually make things happen. It’s about seeing the big picture and the details. It’s about focus and perseverance.
This should be a given, but as we all know, it occasionally gets lost in business and in life. Although we think we’re nice people to begin with, we included this in our 10 Tenets because we never want to forget how far kindness can take you.
